A rolling dock bumper that mounts to the piling or dock frame rather than to the boat. A fixed fender grinds when the boat still has way on it; the inflatable vinyl wheel turns instead, so the tube or hull rolls off the corner rather than scuffing along it.
Two things to pick: size — 12 in for pontoons and larger boats where you want real standoff, 9 in for smaller boats and tighter installs — and bracket — corner mount wraps the outside corner of a piling, straight mount fastens to a flat face.
