Deck lighting on a pontoon is a balancing act. You want enough light to find the cooler, the ladder, and the step down into the cockpit — and you do not want a floodlight that kills everyone's night vision and turns the boat into a bug magnet. A blue puck light lands exactly in that gap: enough spill to see by, dim and cool enough that your eyes stay adjusted to the dark.

This is T-H Marine's 4" surface-mount version, which means no hole saw and no cutting into your deck. It screws down flat against the surface with a polished stainless bezel that stays bright in salt and hard water, and the LED module is fully potted and sealed — there is nothing inside to corrode and no bulb to replace. Current draw is low enough that a run of six around the perimeter is a rounding error on a house battery.

The usual install is four to six around the deck edge, plus one under the helm and one at the boarding gate. Blue is the enthusiast's choice for a reason: it reads as ambience rather than utility lighting, and it does not wash out the water at night the way white does.

Install note: surface mount — no cutout needed, just a small pass-through for the wire leads. Wire to a switched, fused accessory circuit so you can leave them off under way.
