The SC2 is the full-color model: 3000 lumens each, the whole spectrum on a controller, in a composite housing rather than bronze. Composite matters more than it sounds — it will not corrode, it will not set up a galvanic couple with an aluminum pontoon tube, and it weighs almost nothing. On a pontoon, where the transom is aluminum and everything below the waterline is a corrosion argument waiting to happen, that is the right housing material.

Surface mount, so there is no giant through-hull to cut — a small wiring pass-through and the fixture bolts to the outside.
