Coming into an unfamiliar slip after sunset is where most docking damage happens. Navigation lights are built to be seen, not to show you anything — so you end up judging distance off a phone flashlight while someone leans over the fence guessing at a piling. Docking lights solve a problem nothing else on the boat solves.
This Innovative Lighting pair mounts flush into the hull or transom skin, so nothing protrudes to catch a dock line, a cover, or a trailer bunk. Each light throws a wide, low beam forward and outward across the water at close range — enough to pick up pilings, mooring lines, swimmers, and the edge of the slip without blinding anyone on the dock. On a pontoon, where the bow rail blocks a lot of your sightline and the boat carries sideways in a crosswind, that forward-and-out coverage matters more than raw brightness would.
Polished stainless bezels, sealed LED modules with no bulbs to replace, and a low enough current draw that they run off an existing accessory circuit without a wiring rethink. Sold as a pair — running one side only lights half the approach and lets your eyes adjust to the lit side, which is worse than running none at all.

Install note: flush mounting requires a cutout, so check for clearance and framing behind your intended location before you cut. Run them on a switched, fused circuit at the helm — not on the nav light switch, since docking lights are for maneuvering, not for being underway.
