Hertz HMX 6.5-TC 6.5" Marine Coaxial Speakers – Pair, 4 Ohm 150W, IP65 Black

A pair of Hertz HMX 6.5-TC hi-end marine coaxial speakers with tone-on-tone black stainless steel mesh grilles. The tweeter uses an acoustic lens tuned for off-axis dispersion, so the sound holds up for passengers seated away from the speaker rather than only straight in front of it — which is most of a pontoon.

Built for open-deck exposure: a polypropylene cone with UV inhibitors co-moulded to a Santoprene rubber surround, a basket and grille injected with high-temperature UV-resistant polymer, and an aramid fibre spider with silicone-insulated lead wires. Rated IP65, and tested against salt fog, UV and water jet.

Fit: flush-mount through a 128 mm (5.04 in) hole with 95.6 mm (3.76 in) of clearance behind it — the standard 6.5 in opening in a console dash, fence panel or seat base. Measure the existing hole and the space behind the panel before ordering. Runs on any 4 ohm marine head unit or amplifier; no amplifier or wiring beyond the supplied leads is included.
