Greenfield 15 lb Navy Anchor – PVC Coated River Anchor for Pontoon Boats, Red

A 15 lb navy anchor, also called a river anchor, for hard bottom: rock, gravel, heavy grass, timber and shale ledge, where a fluke anchor skips along without setting. The narrow arms find purchase in a crevice or work down through weed instead of riding over it. The PVC coating keeps bare cast iron off decking, vinyl and gel coat and stops rust staining.

At 15 lb it suits most pontoons in the 18–22 ft range in normal lake and river conditions. Heavier boats, or a boat regularly anchored in current or wind, need more weight.
