Gen3 Marine SS316 Anchor Chain & Shackle Kit 1/4" x 4'

A 4 ft length of 1/4 in chain with a 5/16 in shackle for each end, all in polished 316 stainless. The chain goes between the rode and the anchor, keeping the pull on the shank horizontal so the flukes dig in instead of skipping, protecting the rode from chafe on rock and shell, and adding weight that helps the anchor set in wind.

Stainless rather than galvanized means the chain does not streak rust across the deck or the inside of an anchor locker.
