Cleats come in pairs whether you plan it that way or not. Replace the port bow and the starboard one is suddenly the ugly one — pitted, chalky, a different shade of grey than the new casting sitting three feet away.
This is two of the Gen3 Marine 10" heavy-duty hollow base cleats in 316 stainless, the marine grade that shrugs off salt instead of tea-staining. Enough for a matched bow pair, a matched stern pair, or one side of the boat done properly in a single afternoon.
The hollow base is the detail worth knowing about: the casting is open underneath, so the fasteners come up through the deck into the cleat body rather than showing bolt heads on top. Cleaner line, nothing to snag a dock line or a bare foot on.
Ten inches is the size most pontoon owners want for a working bow or stern cleat — long enough to take a proper figure-eight with 1/2" or 5/8" line and still cleat off a spring line without crowding.
What you get: 2 × Gen3 Marine 10" hollow base cleats, 316 stainless. Buying the pair saves you about $9 against two singles.
Doing the whole boat? The 4-pack works out cheaper again per cleat and clears our free-shipping line.
Fitment: universal deck mount — no model-specific bolt pattern. Hollow base mounting needs access to the underside of the deck or fence panel for the fasteners. Send us a photo of your mounting spot if you want a second opinion before ordering, and we will tell you straight whether the 10" or the 8" suits the run better.
