Garelick's poly footrest gives you a solid, angled platform to brace against at the helm, which lets you sit properly in the seat and take chop through your knees. It doubles as a cockpit step wherever you need a little height — climbing over a gunwale, reaching a bimini, or getting from the deck up to a raised casting platform.

It is molded from white poly rather than fabricated from metal, and that is a deliberate advantage in a saltwater boat: there is nothing here to corrode, nothing to leave rust streaks down a white fiberglass or aluminum surface, and nothing that gets too hot to stand on barefoot in August. The top surface is textured for grip when wet.
