Pontoons with a full-width rear deck or motor pod often can't take an under-deck ladder — there's simply nowhere for it to retract. Garelick's Compact EEz-In II solves the problem from the other direction: it mounts to the transom or deck edge and telescopes down into the water when you need it, then collapses into a compact stack barely a foot tall when you don't.

The three wide steps reach deep enough that climbing aboard is a walk up, not a pull-up — the difference matters when you're tired from swimming or helping kids back onto the boat. Anodized aluminum construction keeps it light (about 8 lbs) while standing up to season after season of sun and spray, and mounting hardware is included.
