A pair of stainless ratchet transom tie-downs, 1 in wide by 3.5 ft long, for holding a boat's stern down on the trailer. Transom straps stop the stern walking side to side over expansion joints; the bow winch only holds the hull forward.

The ratchet mechanism is stainless rather than plated steel, which is the difference that matters on a trailer backed into the water at every launch — a plated ratchet seizes. The ratchet also gives controllable tension and will not creep loose over a long tow the way a lever buckle can. This is the ratchet model; BoatBuckle's non-ratcheting Kwik-Lok line uses different part numbers.
