Airhead Bungee Dock Line - 4ft

A 4 ft bungee dock line for tying a pontoon to a fixed dock, a lift or a slip. The elastic core stretches under load and recovers, so the surge from a passing wake is absorbed by the line rather than transferred into deck cleats, rails and dock posts. Stainless snap hooks on both ends clip on without tying a knot.

Sold individually. Four feet is sized for close-quarters tie-ups where the boat sits tight against the pier; a slip that lets the boat move several feet fore and aft calls for a longer line rather than stretching this one to its limit. Elastic line does not replace conventional storm lines in heavy weather.
