The body and lid are mirror-polished 18-9 marine-grade stainless, which is the whole reason these grills last: salt spray simply does not touch them the way it eats cheaper chrome-plated grills. The lid is hinged rather than lift-off, so you are never setting a hot, greasy dome down on your deck or juggling it in a crosswind.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHeat comes from a fully enclosed, wind-resistant burner with an integrated ignition and a radiant plate that spreads the flame evenly instead of scorching one hot spot in the middle. It runs off a standard 1 lb disposable propane canister, or off a larger LPG tank with the appropriate Magma adapter hose.
